Data sent /
received are clearly recorded in the Communication Logging window.
For data/signals sent, if the
"Description" checkbox is ON, commands activated from wherever will be indicated
in the Communication Logging window. For example, if you send
data/signal from the Programmable Buttons, it will be logged as
[Programmable Buttons], if data/signal is sent from the command
pane, it will be indicated as [Command Pane], etc.
For data/signal received, the program will automatically change
to a new line when a new command string is received. It also comes
with the timer option, which allows you to fetch the data from a COM
port buffer when the pre-defined timing has elapsed. This is
especially useful when
the machine has a fixed data sending timing or the data is too long
that the program might capture a single incoming data as multiple
command strings.
Timestamps are available in
Monitoring mode (both Half-Duplex and Full-Duplex modes).
